BR saddle pad free spinal canal

This anatomically shaped saddle pad made of cotton features a wide border of medicinally tanned sheepskin. The underside is also lined with sheepskin, with a cutout for the spine channel. The top side of the pad has six compartments with removable neoprene pads, each 8 mm thick. These pads can be used to raise the withers and back area slightly. In this way, the pad ensures a stable saddle position for horses with less developed withers or a soft or sunken back. The combination of sheepskin and neoprene ensures that the weight of the saddle and rider is distributed very evenly over the horse’s back. This reduces pressure on the vertebrae and withers. Medicinally tanned sheepskins reduce the risk of overheating and are also hygienic, sweat-resistant, and antibacterial. Especially suitable for horses with sensitive skin. The pad fits under all saddles and can be used directly on the horse’s back or between the saddle and saddle cloth. To preserve the natural properties of the sheepskin, we recommend washing the product at 30°C with a special leather detergent such as BR Leather Wash (item 764001).
